A sensory product designed to support memory, grounding, and emotional clarity.
May Season Studio is announcing the release of the Nostalgia Capsule, a small personal device created to help users reconnect with the moments that have shaped their lives. The capsule is part of our Q1 Emotional Wellbeing Collection and reflects our ongoing commitment to thoughtful, human-centered design.
“People want to feel anchored again,” said Nora Ellings, Senior Communications Director at May Season Studio. “Our work has always centered on connection, and the Nostalgia Capsule gives people a way to return to something familiar when the day feels overwhelming.”
The device features a quiet aromatic output that adapts to the surrounding environment. It is compact, understated, and designed to blend naturally into desks, nightstands, or shared spaces without drawing attention. Early internal testing suggests it supports reflection, calm, and daily routine formation.
“Our team believes in creating objects that stay with you,” Ellings said. “Not loudly, not dramatically. Just there when you need them.”
